River search: Searchers continued combing the Mississippi River, set to the grim task of finding three young people reported missing in the river near Algiers over the weekend. “My heart breaks for us to get these babies out of the river,” one searcher told our Missy Wilkinson.
Merci: As World War II raged, Cajuns from south Louisiana were pressed into duty providing a particularly valuable service to the Allies – translating messages, documents and conversations.
