With the holiday season just around the corner and our final business events of the year done, it’s time to celebrate the highlights of 2023 for our business community. 

Here’s how we supported local businesses like yours:  

• Connected over 700 business owners across 25 events, creating valuable connections, information sharing and learnings

• Empowered 29 local businesses with over $100,000 in funding to pursue new projects and drive growth

• Sponsored 48 Cockburn business owners to attend specialized programs in blue economy, innovation, and business strategy, enhancing their skills and competitiveness

• Hosted 21 guest presenters covering diverse topics from defence supply chain to Instagram marketing, providing valuable insights and actionable strategies

• Engaged over 120 business participants in our regular workshop program, tackling key areas like cashflow and Chat GPT, equipping them with the tools to succeed in the ever-evolving business landscape.

2024 promises to be packed with even more support and connection opportunities for Cockburn businesses. Look out for:

• Grants opening on 29 January

• Regular networking events each month starting on 31 January

• International Women’s Day on 8 March

• International engagement activities

• Cockburn Global later in the year
