From the very beginning, the humanistic perspective through Leica has shaped our view of the world. The first Leica cameras were produced in 1925 – we now have a centenary celebration to look forward to in 2025, and we would like you to join us in doing so.
Before the start of this great jubilee year, we look back to this journey with gratitude: For seventy years now, the worlds of creative and journalistic photography have been synonymous with the M-System – the legendary reporter camera. More than ever, courageous and committed photo-journalism, as well as photography in art, contribute to a better understanding of the world and to fostering meaningful dialogue. In this spirit, we wish you a wonderful and relaxing holiday, with plenty of time and leisure to turn your thoughts inwards and get in the mood for a positive new year.
