Making Guidance More Transparent and Effective The Labor Department issued a final rule which seeks to create fairer procedures for the issuance and use of regulatory guidance. Lost Wages Assistance Program Guidance The Department issued additional guidance to help states implement the Lost Wages Assistance program, which provides benefits to most unemployment insurance program claimants. |
Lifetime Income Rule An interim final rule will help workers determine their ability to retire by allowing them to estimate how their current savings in a 401(k)-type plan might translate into lifetime monthly payments. |
Pooled Plan Providers Rule The Department announced a proposal to streamline the registration process for pooled providers of retirement plans. New pooled employer plans will allow more small businesses to offer cost-effective retirement options to their employees. |
