What this update means for your IT ops and Security teams:
  1. Ops teams can now create and manage secrets, control access to secrets via RBAC, and audit logs to determine who is using each secret. All secrets are encrypted at rest and in transit.
  2. Docker Security Scanning is now integrated into the DDC UI so IT managers can scan images for vulnerabilities, ensure that only high integrity code is running in their containers to remain secure and compliant with industry regulations.
  3. Automatic daily database updates provide IT ops with continuous vulnerability monitoring for previously scanned Docker images
  4. Webhooks provide notifications for new images and alerts IT operations of newly discovered vulnerabilities
  5. Docker Datacenter installs simply on any infrastructure via cloud formation templates and improved documentation. The solution also provides a more intuitive UI for users as well as stronger cluster level metrics for visibility.
