European Sovereignty and Transatlatic Alliance: Challenges and Opportunities for the Defense Industry Base

As war returns to Europe and the emergence of new threats to the EU and NATO countries arises, EU countries need to strengthen the European defense technological and industrial base and transition towards a “war economy”. But what kind of industrial model is needed to ensure Armed forces operational efficiency and reconcile national sovereignty, collaboration, consolidation and joint programs?
