Getting raucous: The fatal shooting of a security guard outside of a Mid-City bar Sunday has raised questions about late night crowds along a strip of North Carrollton Avenue near Canal Street. Kasey Bubnash and Gabriella Killett have the details. Reducing emissions: A new rule from the Environmental Protection Agency is expected to drastically reduce the pollution from chemical plants and refineries in Louisiana, the most substantial change in years. As Mark Schleifstein reports, activist groups love the rule, but industry? Not so much. New zoning?
