NATIONAL: The Architecture & Design Film Festival—or ADFF:2020—will take place virtually from Nov. 19 to Dec. 3. The event will feature 16 virtual film programs, special guests, and director Q&As, plus discussions from various architects and designers exploring racial injustice, urbanization, and utopian societies. Tickets for individual films and full festival passes will be on sale Oct. 15, with a discounted price until Nov. 15. ATLANTA: Newly launched Atlanta-based nonprofit Mullen's Miracles, which assists those in crisis and those that have lost a loved one to suicide, is hosting its first-ever virtual event on Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. ET. The event, titled Be a Miracle and hosted by Eryn Eddy and founder Kathy Mullen, will stream online via the organization's website and Facebook page. While tickets are complimentary, attendees are encouraged to donate to further Mullen's Miracles mission to help those in need. LOS ANGELES: Insomniac Events is producing the drive-in Park ‘N Rave Concert Series at NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, Calif. Shows will begin Oct. 9 and 10 with Factory 93 presenting Maceo Plex. The 18-plus concert series will feature new artists weekly, with car passes starting at $200 allowing up to five adults per vehicle. NASHVILLE: The Secret Sounds concert series and wine tasting will debut on Oct. 1 from 8-9:30 p.m. at Meet + Greet in Hillsboro Village. The event will feature performances from Hunter Callahan, Caroline Dare, and Gabe Burdulis. Twenty-five tickets are available for $59.99, with each including admission, a guaranteed seat, and wine tasting at the socially-distanced outdoor venue. NEW YORK: Ravi DeRossi has launched Overthrow Hospitality, a new vegan restaurant group focused on sustainability, inclusivity, and community through food and drink. The hospitality group integrates all venues formerly under “Derossi Global,” including Amor y Amargo cocktail bar, Avant Garden vegan tasting menu, Ladybird vegan tapas, and Proletariat craft beer bar.
