Garden games, gastronomy, and good vibes at Royal Wharf Summer Fete Been missing those feel-good festival vibes this summer? Find them this Saturday at Royal Wharf Park, which plays host to a range of family-friendly festivities — including giant lawn games, live music, and maybe even some magic — to help you squeeze the last few drops of sunshine out of the season. This is Royal Wharf Summer Fete, a free al fresco celebration in the heart of east London's Royal Docks, hosted by stunning new Thames riverfront development Riverscape. It's your chance to discover one of the capital's greenest neighbourhoods (and soon-to-be one of its best-connected ,once Crossrail launches), as well as the incredible creativity of the local community. Royal Wharf Summer Fete takes place 11am-6pm on Saturday 25 September, close to Pontoon Dock DLR station (though if you really want to arrive in style, take the Uber Boat by Thames Clipper to Royal Wharf Pier). Tickets are free — click below reserve yours, or read on for a taste of what you could be getting up to on the day. |
