After decades of denial, Flint man admits he raped 3 women, asks for release from prison
For decades, Michael Gianetti denied he raped three women in the Flint area and attempted to strangle one of them in the early 1970s. But at a hearing of the Michigan Parole Board on Monday, Feb. 8, Gianetti, a Navy veteran who is now 72, apologized for and admitted his crimes and asked for his release from the Muskegon Correctional Facility after more than 48 years in prison.
