The Jaycee Dog Park and Playground Renovation Project has begun and is expected to be completed by mid-summer. Read more about the renovation project and the new amenities by clicking below.

GO Deerfield May Walks

Are you looking for a way to have a dedicated time that you can commit to being active? Join us for GO Deerfield Walks this May! These 30-minute walks can be done at your own pace, plus no fee, no preregistration and no equipment are needed. Just come in comfortable tennis shoes and be ready to move!

Youth Pitching and Throwing Program

This family oriented instructional program teaches youth pitchers the fundamentals and proper mechanics of pitching. This clinic welcomes recreational players looking for exercise and current youth league players wanting to improve their skills. You do not have to be a pitcher to participate, only have the interest and passion to learn this baseball position within a team environment.

Sign up for Adult Co-Rec Softball Leagues

Adult softball leagues begin in May! Sign up a team or join our solo list to be placed on a team.

Register for the Deer Dash

May 5 at 7 am at Mitchell Park
This event is designed for both beginning and experienced runners. We offer a 5K race, a 10K race, and a 1-mile family fun run. The Deer Dash will help you sharpen your competitive skills in running and get in shape for other area events.

Patty Turner Center's Car Show

May 14 at 8:30 am at Patty Turner Center
The PTC Men’s Club will hold its 7th Annual Antique & Classic Car Show where all members and guests are invited to join for a FREE morning program spotlighting the cars being showcased and their owner’s stories! Afterwards, members and guests will view these vehicles.

Register for Tiny Treks

Looking for a program that will engage and excite every sense as your child embarks on amazing outdoor adventures? Try Tiny Treks!

Tiny Treks is a wonderful all outdoor mini camp with dynamic counselors. They will meet at different locations each day exploring the beautiful North Shore parks, sloughs, savannah's and beaches.

Last Day to Sign Up for Camp Busing Service is May 10th for First Session Camps

Children who register for the bus transportation option will be picked up each morning at convenient stops within park district boundaries only.

Register for Triathlon Brick Work

This is a 90 minute workout stacking a 30 minute interval run on top of a 60 minute swim. As a great foundation for an effective multisport training program, this workout is designed for triathletes, but anyone searching for a solid cross-training opportunity is welcome to participate. Participants should have basic swimming skills
