Friend,

Internet, cable and phone services are way too expensive, and lobbyists in Washington, D.C. are working behind the scenes to pump up the industry's profits and send you the bill. Companies like Time Warner Cable, newly rebranded as "Spectrum," have made it harder to watch Dodgers and Lakers games — and straight up refuse to serve certain areas of Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Frontier's takeover of Verizon has been a disaster.

On Wed., May 10, we're joining forces with our Voices for Internet Freedom partners to host a forum in L.A. about the challenges local residents face connecting to communication services. FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn will be there to listen and carry the concerns of Los Angelenos back to Washington.

Hope you can make it — seating is limited so sign up today.
