Selfridges' treasure trove of toys just got even more magical

With music-making, magic tricks and madcap experiments, Selfridges Oxford Street is pulling out all the stops for your little ones next week. This half term, the iconic department store invites families to unleash their imaginations inside the fantastical world of FAO Schwarz.

From creating their dream racing car to learning how to play tunes with their feet (just like in the film Big), there are tons of opportunities for children to get stuck into some creative play — and it won't cost you a penny. There's also a magician on hand to dazzle with top-notch tricks, while Selfridges' own eccentric professor reveals the wonders of science through his awe-inspiring experiments. Not to mention face-painting, a ball pit (with yellow smiley face balls), and a DJ to really get you into that school holiday spirit.

With magic kits, mini labs and loads of other brilliant toys to buy, the fun can continue back home — throughout the rest of half term and beyond. Click below to plan your visit.
