Senate committee clears FAA bill, rejects regulating airline fees

The Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee has approved the FAA reauthorization bill proposed last week by Sens. John Thune (R-South Dakota) and Bill Nelson (D-Florida), moving it a step closer to consideration by the full Senate.
