Maine U.S. Senate hopeful will float tech regulations after speaking out about Google tenure

• Democrat Ross LaJeunesse, one of four candidates running in a June 2020 primary to face U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, said he will propose regulations on big tech companies after a Washington Post story detailed his messy split with Google, where he served as a top-level executive before he said he was forced out over trying to get the company to adopt a human-rights plan in China.

• The defunct hydroelectric station sits over an artificially narrowed bottleneck in the Dennys River. Its removal is supposed to allow more alewives and Atlantic salmon to make their way upstream into Meddybemps Lake.

• Hester Kohl, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach from the midcoast, pitches "Fearless Eating" as an alternative to the seesaw of overindulgence, then restrictive dieting.
