  Senators spent Thursday reading an FBI report on the embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Two pivotal Republicans, Jeff Flake of Arizona and Susan Collins of Maine, made initially positive comments on the FBI's background investigation, raising the chances of his confirmation. Echoing other Republicans, Sen. Bob Corker of Tennessee said, "It's time to vote."
