Optional Day-2 Event - World Climate Simulation Workshop Thursday 19th October The Paris agreement finally establishes national commitments to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, but are they sufficient to keep global temperatures below the critical 2 degrees C threshold? The World Climate role-play exercise enables participants to explore the dynamics of the climate and impacts of proposed policies using a model consistent with the best available peer-reviewed science.
