| Lawyer Meltdown Newsletter | It has been quite a while since I've sent out a newsletter, and for that, I apologize to all of my readers - 2020 was an unusual year, to say the least! Now that we've turned the corner into 2021, it's time to start looking forward and making plans for what comes next - even if it turns out to be something completely different than we expected! While I didn't send out many newsletters in 2020, it doesn't mean I wasn't working on new content. In fact, Dennis Kennedy and I launched our online course, LinkedIn Essentials (which is a great option for those who prefer to consume video content than to read a book), and I created a ton of additional video content which you can find on the Legal Ease YouTube Channel or at LawyerMeltdown.com. I was recently a guest on the Personal Injury Marketing Minute podcast, talking about legal marketing in 2021 - take a listen if you're interested. As always, I'm looking for your feedback. I'd love to get your comments on the videos, my columns, or ideas you have for future articles or newsletters. Let me know what you're thinking! Email me at Allison@LegalEaseConsulting.com. | |

Recent Columns | | The most recent issue of Law Practice Magazine is the TECHSHOW issue - devoted to all things tech in preparation for the ABA TECHSHOW scheduled for the second week in March. My column is about how to improve website performance with content optimization. Check out the complete magazine here. I was also published in the ABA Family Advocate magazine - a publication of the Family Law section, with an article entitled, "How to Work More Efficiently and Effectively." Members of the family law section will find it in the Winter 2021 issue on page 6. See the Law Practice Magazine archives | Events | | February-March 2021 On March 30, 2021, I'll be speaking for the DC Bar on LinkedIn - more info to follow. In the interim, I highly recommend registering for the ABA TECHSHOW - a fully virtual event, and the lowest price ever, so a great opportunity if you're on a budget. You can learn more at techshow.com. The week before TECHSHOW, I also highly recommend the Women of Legal Tech Summit, which will be held on March 3 and 4, 2021. This is also a virtual event, and the cost is nominal. It is always one of my favorite events of the year. Register here. More events to be added soon! See all events | NOW AVAILABLE: Make LinkedIn Work for You | | My friend and colleague, Dennis Kennedy and I are proud to announce that our book, Make LinkedIn Work for You, A Practical Handbook for Lawyers and Other Legal Professionals is now available. The book is an adaptation of all of our previous work on LinkedIn, from webinars and presentations to articles and books. This book is different from what we've done before in that we're publishing direct to Kindle first, and the book contains no screenshots. We plan to follow the book with an online course to help lawyers and other legal professionals really dig into LinkedIn and maximize their use of the platform. If you want to know what other people are saying about the book, check out Dennis' post here that provides a roundup of reviews on the book so far. You can get the book on Amazon.com in both paperback and Kindle versions. | Privacy Policy | Visit the link below to see our privacy policies, or, if you no longer wish to receive this newsletter, click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of this newsletter. | See our privacy policy here |
