Some Ocean Initiatives in France, Portugal and Germany In Toulouse the operation proved to be quite efficient as 33 kilos of trash were collected by a small group of volunteers and about a hundred cig butts were found near traffic lights. This initative also enabled SFE to give all collected cans to the organisation K Net Partage association who helps vulnerable children. Peniche Chapter, in Portugal, made the most of its beautiful location mid january and managed to organise a waste collection on the beach even with the new confinement measures announced. Into Germany, Chapter Baden Pfalz also organised an ocean initiative for a fresh new start and to prove that despite restrictions it's still possible to take action. |
