DUEL FOR DISPENSARY: A former New Orleans Saints player, Tulane University, the chair of the Louisiana Democratic Party and a former New Orleans police superintendent are among the applicants for Louisiana’s coveted 10th medical marijuana pharmacy license, which grants access to an exclusive club of businesses selling legal marijuana to a market that has exploded in the past year.
BACKLASH: An Isidore Newman School student who reported in 2017 that a classmate sexually assaulted her was bullied and shamed by a group of students, parents and even Newman donors, according to thousands of pages of newly unsealed court records in her lawsuit against the school.
