God’s presence within is the only certainty we have at this time. Ananda's mission for the past 50 years has been to share ways to access that divine reality. Through the practical techniques of yoga and meditation we are prepared to embrace the challenges ahead with courage and strength. Now is also the time to practice Paramhansa Yogananda’s principles of “plain living and high thinking.”

The road map to this shelter is found by going within through prayer and meditation, and through service to others. “Even a little practice of this inward religion will free one from dire fears and colossal suffering.” Have you carved out time for your spiritual life?

• A catalog of hundreds of videos, talks, and classes available through our social media outlets
  
• Personal connections are important during this time. Ananda ministers and spiritual counselors are reaching out to people daily by phone, email and video chats
  
• Over 22,000 people around the world join together as Ananda’s online Community of Light, sharing in daily meditation, book studies, classes, and webinars
  
• The “Be a Warrior for the Light” campaign, an online gathering of 1,000 people to bring light and positive energy into the world 

As part of our greater Ananda family, we want to keep you informed about our financial situation. The Expanding Light Retreat and Ananda Meditation Retreat are closed to the public in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of their staff have opted to serve as volunteers, while others have been diverted to critical services. All other Outreach Ministries staff have opted to take pay reductions or unemployment. We have pursued all options which include our application for the government’s Small Business Administration loans.

We have overcome financial challenges in times past. We are confident we will succeed again. Your ongoing support is critical for Ananda.
