Thousand flock to AuSable river valley for 74th annual canoe marathon
This race is not for the timid, only the most accomplished marathon canoe racers have the necessary training and experience to compete at this level. Nearly 100 two-person marathon teams carried their canoes through the streets of Grayling to kick off the start of the storied 120-mile and 14+ hour non-stop ultra-endurance journey.
