Ahead of next week's Budget, Telegraph Money reporters have been analysing what a no-deal Brexit could mean for your personal finances; from savings and investments, to property and travel.
Our latest piece in the five-part series looks at whether – as experts have predicted – a no-deal scenario will result in cancelled flights, a loss of consumer rights and long queues at the border.
This week we also look at financial abuse, soon to be formally identified as a form of domestic abuse in the Government’s upcoming domestic abuse bill, which left one reader with a debt of 20,000, accrued without her knowledge.

S Corkswill said about HMRC's self-assessment website: "I find it remarkable that in this age of making everything accessible, that time and time again there is no consideration given for the elderly who will not, in the most cases, be digitally savvy."
Anthony Charlton said about what a no-deal Brexit means for property: "I hope property prices crash. Although this may mean property prices continue to be a key subject of discussion at any middle-class dinner or gathering, it will mean that young people finally have a chance to get on that all-important property ladder."
Bomber Harris said about electric cars: "Electricity might be cheaper than petrol at the moment but the government will soon put a stop to this if many people switch to electric cars." |
