When we saw a viral TikTok trend in which users were dipping their testicles in soy sauce to see if they could taste it, we had to find out what was going on. They were putting a study to the test that found that male testes have taste receptors — but taste receptors aren’t the same thing as taste buds, despite what some of the TikTok users said they experienced.
