Should you wear a mask in your area? Check Michigan map to see where CDC puts your local COVID threat

The agency previously considered only new cases and test positivity rates when defining communities where people should mask. Until Friday, this included the vast majority of Michigan. CDC leaders announced they are moving to a three-level system considering per-capita new cases, percentage of hospital beds occupied by COVID-19 patients and new COVID-19 hospital admissions.
