For one night only, your favorite Jewish advice podcast will be live (in-person and online).

In 1906, the Forward started A Bintel Brief, Yiddish for “A Bundle of Letters.” Now, our classic Jewish advice column is a podcast. Our co-hosts, Ginna Green and Lynn Harris, two very different Jewish mothers, dish on the dilemmas of Jewish-American life, identity, culture and politics.

Join our insightful and hilarious hosts Ginna and Lynn, along with the Forward’s archivist Chana Pollack and editor-in-chief Jodi Rudoren, for a lively conversation that will take you behind the scenes into the making of the podcast and into the history books.

A Conversation with Ksenia Svetlova on Israeli Politics + Arab Affairs

Join us for a conversation with journalist and former member of the Knesset Ksenia Svetlova on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the upcoming elections, how to get out of political stalemate, and what role the conflict played in the coalition government and its downfall. We will also delve deeper into Arab affairs through the years, and how the shifts in political dynamics and diplomatic relationships in the region have created a new reality for Israel and the conflict. The conversation will be moderated by Laura E. Adkins, Opinion Editor of the Forward. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and other outlets.

This event will be at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan and is co-sponsored by J Street and IPF Atid.
