Ottawa was selected as one of the five Canadian cities to host a Regional Qualifier for Neymar Jr. Five's soccer tournament on May 5th, 2018! This five-a-side soccer tournament is a fast, technical and fun competition across 60 countries in 6 continents open tomen and womenaged 16-25.

Rules

• Teams of 5-7 players
• Each team is allowed two players over 25
• 10 minute matches
• Mini nets - no goalkeepers
• When a team scores, the opposing team loses a player
• Celebrations are highly encouraged

The winner of Ottawa's tournament will move on to Canada's National Final in Toronto. The National Final winner will then represent Canada in Brazil at the World Final!
