The Panthers fired Ron Rivera after eight-plus years, four playoff appearances and a Super Bowl, which raises a lot of questions: Why with four games left? What happens to Cam Newton? And who'll be their next coach? John Breech says Greg Roman would be his first phone call as soon as the Ravens' season ends (and I've got six possibilities in mind) as we break everything down.
The Seahawks grabbed the NFC's No. 2 seed and the Niners are suddenly in the No. 5 spot, but will it stay that way? Ryan Wilson pointed out two big reasons Seattle's not going to the Super Bowl (and check out Patrik Walker's ranking of all the NFC contenders) on the first of TWO Tuesday podcasts featuring lots of NFL goodness.
Pete Prisco's latest Power Rankings come with a warning label: BURY THE PATS AT YOUR OWN PERIL. Pete's got New England down to No. 5 (the week's biggest faller), but he's sure they'll get things fixed for another deep playoff run. In the meantime, the Seahawks climbed to No. 2, and check out who's up to No. 11.

While John Breech was eating some pumpkin pie over the weekend he decided to make a list of all the teams the Bills have beaten who have a winning record. Here's his list: Titans. Buffalo can beat bad teams, but this week they're playing a supernova, and John says the Ravens win big as he picks every Week 14 game; here's who wins a Chiefs-Pats thriller.
Tom Brady ripped into his WRs during the Pats' loss to the Texans, begging them to be more explosive. It's unclear if they listened carefully, but Ryan Wilson sure did, and he's giving Brady and the Pats a freakish athlete in Tee Higgins. Ryan's got the Bengals going QB despite Andy Dalton's triumphant return, and check out the surprising Colts pick at No. 17.
Only four weeks remain in the regular season, and there's still A LOT to be decided in the AFC. Could the Bills actually catch the Pats? Will the Steelers or Raiders sneak in? Who'll come out on top in the wild AFC South? Tyler Sullivan ranked the wild card chances of teams still in the hunt, and says this is what will happen to the rising Titans.
So much happens in the NFL every week that it's easy to miss some of it, but Jared Dubin is here for you. Jared dove into everything that happened in Week 13 and what's next in Week 14, from the playoff picture to the race for the early draft picks to a review of every game (get a load of the ugly NFL record set by the Jets).
