Sky High Wi-Fi

Regular readers of ‘Twitters’ will know that I am not a great admirer of a certain low cost airline that operates in the Canary Islands. Although appearing to offer great value at first glance, by the time that the intending traveller has negotiated the complicated website, which appears intended to trick rather than reassure, paid extra for baggage, surcharges, worked out how to say “No” to the insurance offer as well as denying the “Special hand luggage that meets our specifications” offer. I find that I am already dreading the flight. Added to this, the undignified dash across the runway, a policy of not knowing whether I will be seated next to my partner or not, told that I cannot bring any duty free in addition to my hand luggage...
