Slap Ya Mama to build warehouse near Carencro

Good Monday morning to all of you, Acadiana Business newsletter readers. Hurricane season is here. In the meantime, I have headlines.  

It's a story that sort of percolated all last week: The Slap Ya Mama seasoning folks are building a 18,000-square-foot warehouse north of Carencro in a move that will help the growing Ville Platte-based business.

The permit hit late last month for the project valued at $2.6 million. It's on 5 acres the company The company bought the five acres of land at the corner of Parfait Road and I-49 Service Road in 2021.
