Slidell digs out: Slidell residents and business owners have begun the arduous process of cleaning up the path of Wednesday's EF-2 tornado, which brought winds as high as 120 mph across the southern part of town. Alex Lubben has this report.
New Orleans dries up: Neighborhoods across New Orleans watched the water rise in the street Wednesday, with some of them even having their buildings flood. Sophie Kasakove and Ben Myers spoke with some of them along North Broad Street, and you won't be surprised to hear they're feeling abandoned by the city.
French Quarter Fest shines on: One of the city's major festivals, the newly expanded French Quarter Fest, is underway, with musicians hitting the stage just in time for the sun to come out. Keith Spera has this dispatch.
