You can get started with this report from the capital on the GUMBO Grant program that will help get high-speed internet to rural parts of the state. It's an effort that is under way here in Acadiana, and you may remember our report from last fall that shone a light on how much slower broadband speeds are outside of Lafayette Parish (here's a reminder: some parts of Lafayette Parish have five times the speed as some rural areas of Acadia Parish).
