Banksias have been a part of my entire life. Growing up close to the coast here in Sydney, they are just a participant of every landscape. Any open space or park, or the bush reserves along the coastline, are all populated with typical Banksia species associated with what is referred to around the city, harbour and eastern suburbs of Sydney as ‘Banksia scrub.’ |
