Sukho Thai Restaurant

Service was great, very attentive. Food arrived quickly (granted, it wasn't busy at the time). Excellent food and good quantity; can easily have two meals out of one entrée if you're not voraciously hungry. Better atmosphere than Tiny Thai because I can actually hear what my dining companions are saying because it's not too loud.

Home Cookin': Solstice Cake

I made this dense, moist cake with apples and almonds on the Winter Solstice last year, and we all ate a piece after dinner that night. It was a simple and cozy way to mark the longest night of the year — and has become a new tradition.
