Advertisers Can Now Buy the First Commercial Users See on Snapchat Shows
 

Under a new ad offering, brands can take over the platform and appear as the first commercial any user sees when they turn on a show. The opportunity comes as the platform deepens its investments in its ad offerings, particularly under the new leadership of Peter Naylor, who just joined from Hulu as vp of the Americas to lead advertising in this region.

In other news, in case you forgot Mother's Day is coming up (on May 10), an ad from Facebook will remind you; following other platforms, TikTok created a donation sticker to let users raise money for charitable causes amid Covid-19; Spotify created a special playlist, called Daily Wellness, designed to provide some peace and optimism to listeners.
