It’s not often there’s one big thing that blows up a relationship. It’s the small behaviors, day in and day out, that erode the foundation and slowly create a wedge between two people.
Reading this story about the sneaky habits that sabotage relationships hit home in more ways than I’d care to admit. Not saying thank you for the small things, being a bit dismissive of my partner’s interests… let’s just say I have some things to work on. Do you?

Stuck alone in lockdown and about to graduate college online, Jamie writes she was starved for human connection and joined a writing group, not knowing that the people in it would become so important to her. “It’s a complicated feeling,” she wrote in this HuffPost Personal essay, “Knowing that some of the deepest connections of your life were forged due to the pandemic.
