Snow warnings, winter storm advisories remain in effect; up to a foot of lake-effect precipitation so far in some areas

Wintry weather and lake-effect snow has landed along Lake Erie, and it is expected to continue on and off through the weekend. In some places east of Cleveland, as much as a foot of snow has fallen according to the National Weather Service. So far, most of Cuyahoga County and points west have been relatively unscathed.
