(and a sprinkling of community spirit too...) Following the success of last year’s inaugural Islander Festival, we’re delighted to report this epic summer celebration is back for 2022! Circle Saturday 23 July in your diaries and get those sun hats on, because a quintessential British fête is on the way. Islander Festival takes over London City Island for one day only, bringing a bucket-load of activities to east London. There’ll be live performances, al fresco fitness classes, face painting, craft sessions, cocktail-making, the list goes on. Once you’ve partied up an appetite? Swing by the all-day barbecue to fill your boots. As always the community remains at the heart of Islander Festival, with local artists and independent businesses leading the line-up.
