But one woman’s Instagram following has grown massively over the past few weeks because of her beautiful, poignant artwork honoring the victims.
Instagram / @shirien.creates Shirien said her artwork usually takes three to six hours to make, but some more elaborate pieces with multiple subjects take up to 12 hours. She’s been offering these illustrations as free downloads and has no plans to try to monetize her platform.
For Shirien, too, creating this kind of art has been cathartic.
