| | Jerry Warren was just looking for a good grade as a student at BYU, so he signed up for a ski class. The teacher (who was the golf coach at BYU) turned to him and said, āYouāre really good at this. Why donāt you help me teach?ā Not only did he get an A in the class, but he also found his calling. Now at age 75, after years of professional accolades for teaching people to ski and literally writing the manual used by the Professional Ski Instructors of America, this year will be his last as a full-time instructor. | Utahās legislature and Gov. Spencer Cox have passed strict legislation regarding teens and social media. According to a Deseret News/Hinckley Institute of Politics poll, however, voters see leeway in terms of the age requirements for social media accounts. By the numbers: 60% of Utah adults favor limiting social media to children 16 and older. Only 8% of respondents say they donāt worry about what their children find online. 68% say they have taken all necessary precautions to protect their children. 63% of respondents say they are worried their children are finding inappropriate content online.
