Ohio Arts Council awards nearly $700K to Cleveland area schools to fund arts education through CARE
Developed originally for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, the Cleveland Play House's CARE program not only exposes kids to the arts but also gives them a way to deal with the stressors and traumas of daily life. The Ohio Arts Council has awarded nearly $700,000 to fund teaching residencies using the CARE curriculum to 17 individual Cleveland schools, as well as two other area schools.
