Gartner: 60% of US employees distracted by election

Sixty percent of US workers say they feel distracted during the working day by the upcoming election, a 20% rise from December of last year, according to a Gartner report. In addition, 22% say the election is having a "big impact" on their job performance, 43% say it's difficult "to work with colleagues whose political beliefs differ from their own" and more than 60% want their "employer to provide at least one voter participation opportunity."
