AccelerateSC debates amusement parks, municipal funding

As AccelerateSC's 30-day cycle comes to a close, the group continues to tackle a variety of issues ranging from reopened amusement parks to suspended business license penalties. Here are the latest updates from each committee.

Greenville releases reopening guidelines, bilingual resources

Greenville’s Business Recovery Task Force reported its initial guidelines (.pdf) for reopening the local economy today and also helped launch a Greater Greenville Pledge site geared toward Hispanic business owners, lapromesadegreenville.com.

John Carrington, CEO at the Columbia-based 3D design and manufacturing company ZVerse, realized he may soon have to start cutting jobs at the company he founded in 2013. If things didn’t turn around, it could be all 20, including his own.

Greenville Tech and Lander sign articulation agreement

Greenville Tech students will be able to move easily to Lander along with their credits. Students who meet the requirements of the program will be guaranteed admission to Lander and will receive priority acceptance into the major they have selected.
