CBS Sports Football Pick Six Newsletter

Are the Cowboys good again? Is Aaron Rodgers great again? Are Eagles fans really burning Carson Wentz jerseys? Ryan Wilson says Philly could've had 10 Jalen Ramseys and they still would've gotten smoked, and John Breech and Sean Wagner-McGough join too as we try to figure out why anyone wouldn't believe in Lamar Jackson, break down the most Chargers-y ending ever and much more.
Aaron Rodgers scored as many TDs (six) as he threw incompletions, becoming the first Packer ever to have a perfect QB rating. John Breech says the most impressive part is Rodgers did it without Davante Adams, so he gave the Packers the best grade possible. John graded every team, with a failing mark for the Seahawks, and check out who else he gave an 'F.'
There are a ton of bad teams out there and things are getting a little wacky. The record for the largest-ever Thursday spread was set just a few weeks ago, and now the Vikings are already poised to break it. John Breech points out that 15-point-plus favorites are 5-1 ATS (another weird thing about 2019) as he breaks down every Week 8 spread; get a load of the 2-4 Steelers line.

Everyone was awaiting Kyler Murray's big moment leading the Cardinals to their third-straight win and then ... Chase Edmonds happened. The 2018 fourth-rounder went off for 126 yards and 3 TDs to steal the show, and Dan Schneier has Edmonds atop his list of 10 Week 7 surprises. Ryan Tannehill also made the list, and we bet you weren't counting on a big day from Dan's No. 4.
The Jaguars got a haul for Jalen Ramsey, but what will they do with it? Chris Trapasso says there's a corner out there who's sticky in coverage with plus athletic talent (sound like anyone?) and he's got Jacksonville grabbing him at No. 13 before taking ANOTHER corner at No. 19. Chris also says the Fins get Tua despite not having the top pick, and there's a Browns surprise.
It sounds like Matt Ryan may miss a week or two with a high ankle sprain, but does that mean Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman and the rest of the Atlanta offense is unplayable in that time? Heath Cummings answers that question (nope) and more, from who's the No. 1 WR on the Jags and Lions, to whether Aaron Rodgers is a top-3 QB again.
The Rams and Falcons met Sunday, which Jason La Canfora says is only fitting, because L.A. got a good look at where it's headed. JLC says both teams had a heartbreaking loss to the Pats in the Super Bowl, and both have plenty of stars, but points out a massive problem they share. JLC has more notes from Week 7, including these two teams who should be dealing.
