Some Miami airport workers exempt from living wage law
Though Miami-Dade County, Fla., has extended a nearly 20-year-old living wage ordinance to encompass shops, restaurants and other vendors at Miami International Airport, airlines and their subsidiaries, as well as restaurants and shops with pre-existing leases, aren't required to comply. Maria Sanchez, who works for Sky Chefs packaging meals for American Airlines, gathered with dozens of other workers and Rep.-elect Donna Shalala, D-Fla., at the airport Wednesday to bring attention to the issue.

A hacker group based in Nigeria has been targeting chief financial officers around the world with a scam in which fraudsters identify themselves as company insiders and request a transfer of funds.
