Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and came the the launch of our exhibition by Amanda Sumpter and Ysidro Pergamino on Thursday evening. The stormy skies were the perfect backdrop!

We had thousands of visitors to the Atelier OPEN exhibition this summer, and we asked each of them to cast a vote for their favourite piece. Hand Built Ceramics with Tom Butcher

Join us on Saturday 17th September for a morning of hand-building with Brighton-based ceramicist Tom Butcher. You’ll learn the essentials of coiling a pot, creating a two-part oil burner to use at home. Tom will demonstrate how to control form and then how to thin and smooth to give a professional finish. Skills you can use again and again to build your own ceramics at your kitchen table. Suitable for all levels.
