Keep oil rigs out of the Arctic Refuge -- tell Congress to reject any budget that allows Arctic drilling!

Take action!

Dear Friend,

The Arctic Refuge is running out of time. This is one of America's last truly wild places -- home to caribou, muskoxen, and hundreds of bird species. But the budget currently moving through Congress calls for revenue from Arctic drilling to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy. If Trump and his Republican cronies get their way, the Arctic could be handed over to Big Oil just in time for the holidays.

There's still time to stop this destructive plan from becoming law -- send a message to Congress telling them to reject any budget that allows Arctic drilling!

For over 40 years, Big Oil has used every trick in the book to try to gain access to the Refuge. If this tactic works, there's no way they'll stop at Alaska -- Trump has already signaled that he’s willing to dismantle other national monuments and wilderness areas for the sake of short-term profit.

This isn't just a matter of protecting wildlife -- Alaska Native tribes like the Gwich'in rely on the bounty of the Refuge for subsistence hunting, and its protection is a matter of human rights and food security for them.

Thanks to messages and calls from activists like you, Trump's Arctic drilling plan is beginning to lose support in Congress -- but Republicans are trying to fast-track the budget before their scheme gains too much bad publicity.

We can't let this scheme destroy the Refuge -- we need to show Congress that Arctic drilling is a politically toxic issue that has no place in the budget. Send a message to Congress today.

Thanks for all you do,
