A half century of sharing the light

The 50th anniversary of Ananda will be a week-long gala affair filled with deep inspiration, divine joy, and celebration.

Hundreds of friends from around the world will gather in the birthplace of this movement, Ananda Village, to honor the life of Swami Kriyananda, Ananda’s founder and direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda, and look to the future together. The culminating event of the week will be the dedication of the Temple of Light at Ananda Village, a symbol of the uniting spirit that Ananda represents.

How to Register

• Purchase an Event Pass
• Arrange for accommodations either through this online registration system or on your own.

Food vendors are being arranged now and when we are ready, meal passes will be available for purchase. 

The Garden Party Fundraising Gala and Indian Party are meals and are also not included in the Event Pass. Tickets for these events are available separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

What will this event cost? Event passes cost $150 for adults and $70 for children between 3-17 years old. Meals and accommodations will be separate.

Where can I stay? At this time there are 4 housing options: 1) camping at Ananda Village, 2) Shady Creek Summer Camp indoor, bunk bed style housing for up to 250 guests, 3) Family Camping at Ananda Village at the Living Wisdom School campus, and 4) arrange your own AirBnB, hotel, or other alternative housing. 

What about food? We are currently making arrangements with food vendors. We will make meal package information available for registered guests for purchase as soon as it is finalized.

Who should come? Everyone, especially you! This is a week of joy for anyone interested in connecting with like-minded friends. We intend to also make this a very family friendly occasion.
