The headaches for the ACT's long-awaited new public transport ticketing system, MayWay+, look set to continue, with a fresh inquiry set to delve into the early teething troubles encountered during the initial rollout and what appears to be the start of a blame game.
There may be headaches coming to the APS, too, as the federal minister responsible for the public service warns that the Coalition's attack on waste could result in deep cuts to public sector jobs. Five centres in Canberra have reportedly been affected, with staff from one location resigning en masse, and finishing up tomorrow. Lanie Tindale has the story.
