Sumter County manufacturer plans $26M expansion

Sumter County bearing manufacturer SKF has announced a $26 million expansion expected to create 10 new jobs. The company plans to add a new line of design and install equipment and handling systems at its two facilities in Sumter.

Greenville offers free parking Thursday and Friday

The city of Greenville will offer free parking at all city-owned parking facilities on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Parking will be free beginning at 6 a.m. on Thursday, ending at 6 a.m. on Saturday. In addition to the Richardson Street Garage and the West Washington Street Deck, the Broad Street Garage will also be free on Saturday and Sunday.
